An Example Of Internal Status
First of all, Internal status is not something you necessarily see, it is more something you feel.
Have you ever been in a room and a famous person comes walking in? So, even if you don’t know who they are…
Seems like some people just command the room when they walk in.
As a result, they never have to demand it.
Bronson Arroyo MLB Star and Musician
The charity I am involved with makes dreams come true for musicians. It is called Hear The Hope
Bronson Arroyo donated a song for us to use with some kids who’s mom had cancer.
What a nice guy.
When he came to my house to record in the studio he came bounding in wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, “Hi I’m Bronson, thanks for letting me be part of this project.”
The second he entered the room, I knew he was special. He has internal status. Consequently, he knows who he is, what he stands for and in in alignment with it all.
It’s called congruence.
Congruence Leads To Internal Status
The definition of congruence is “the quality or state of corresponding, agreeing, or being congruent”. In other words, you are aligned in vision, action and core values to accomplish your desired way of being!
This is what is missing for most people. You can set goals and desired outcomes but consequently, if your actions do not align, it really doesn’t matter what your intentions are.
Work On Your Internal Picture
In conclusion, This is the time to focus on the vision of who you truly are and how you will shine in the world.
Set your goals and vision, as a result, you will be able to detect the inconsistencies that are preventing you from internal status.
