These are the wise words of the great Bob Marley. He was a man of peace and justice. A legend in music and politics. He had an amazing way of bringing people together through music.
Political Figures Come And Go
The people remain no matter who is in power. We have seen the right dominate and the left. Both have done good and both have made some terrible errors. Both have been corrupt. The right and the left are strictly divided and the only way we can come together is to eliminate sides and there have been decades of work creating the divide so it will not be easy to mend.
How Do We Come Together?
The way we come together is by realizing that the left-wing and the right-wing belong to the same bird. We have been tricked into thinking that there is a right way and a wrong way and as long as we are divided we get nothing accomplished. It is time to come together and night around a set of core values and core beliefs that apply to everyone and respect all people. We can do this.
John Adams said:
There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution.
